SHORT STORY :Rainbow

The snow fell again since noon, the Christmas tree lights in every house was so beautiful, El just stared at them with a cup of chocolate milk that had been cold. "Hey sweetie, go inside, it's already late at night and it's cold out here," her father said with his soft voice.  "Yes, dady"   she  immediately enter her room.

This morning was very cold, The first day elena  entered as a student in high school carrolina. this school is very good and has very high quality both from the school and its students. she got a scholarship to get into high school carrolina. this is the only way for her to be able to get to school, which she has dreamed of since childhood, which is to continue her studies in Oxford. but she had to study  harder because she had to compete with students from the student of high school carrolina. Ginny tried to be friendly to the students there. some smiled at her and others saw with envy at Ginny.

“hi dad .” said elena to her father  “ hi sweetie, how’s your  day? ” asked mr gilbert, “ oh, it’s pretty cool” said ginny  but there is no smile in her face “what happened honey?” asked Mr. gilbert to her daughter. “ not big deals dad, I’m fine” said ginny.

“hey, i’m your father I know , are  you lying to me? Just tell me the truth honey “ mr. gilbert knew there was something happened with elena. “ some of my classmates didn’t like me dad, I don’t know why , I always tried to be nice with them “ elena cried and Mr gilbert give hug with elena. “ look, honey there always people hate us but we have to be good person no matter what .”

 “ thank you dad, you are my hero in my live , I love you so much dad” said ginny “ I love you more my princess, okay don’t be sad I will make your favorite food.”  Mr. Gilbert immediately made elena's favorite food and they ate together.

It was early October and the trees  had shed their leaves and everything was dry and dusty. elena made breakfast for her father and herself. but there is something weird today. her father doesn't usually wake up late. she went to his father's room. how shocked she was to see her father's condition. her father is like a sick person. he immediately ran over to his father. “are you okay dad? "asked Elena worried" I'm fine honey. just go to the shcool, i will be fine.” He tried to smile to her daughter

“no dad, I will be in here ,  want to care you .” ginny cried “it’s okay honey”. El decided to not go to school. she also bought medicine for her father.s he walked from her house to a pharmacy that was quite far away. she chose to walk because to save money. after getting the medicine she came home.

Elena’s financial condition was too bad.s he also had to divide his time between work, take care of her  father and share her  time to study. she worked more than usual. she came home at midnight, Elena saw her father's condition getting better. she was very happy to see his father's condition. Elena  go  to her room to sleep because she was very tired, she forgot if tomorrow there is a test to enter the university. this morning the weather was not supportive. Elena woke up how surprised she was that she saw that the clock was already 7 o’clock and she just remembered that she had a test. she immediately got ready then headed to the bus stop, unlucky  she missed the bus.

she returned home crying. “I’m sorry dad, I make you disappointed with me, I’m failed.” She cried and hug her father “no honey, I’m proud of you , you are great person, it’s okay if you failed today there is another way to reach your dream.” Ginny getting better because advice from her father. The next day Ginny entered school, how shocked she was, because the test yesterday was delayed because of a problem. She was very happy because she could take the test.   Ginny passes the test to enter Oxford. She told her father. Ginny believes that there are rainbows after a rain storm.
